You always wanted to stay down a little longer, go a little deeper or explore farther? XR diving opens up a variety of aquatic environments, increases your dive depths limits and extends your bottom times. The SSI Extended Range program is the core root program that all other open-circuit XR programs are built upon.
The program is developed and intended for the use of trimix as the breathing gas to reduce inert gas narcosis and increase diver safety. An air option is available for those areas where helium is inaccessible. You learn the techniques and the procedures for using trimix breathing gases and nitrox mixtures of up to 100% oxygen for accelerated decompression.
